Helena Westra is an artist based in San Diego, California. She gravitates towards sculpture and is enamored by clay and ceramics. Her current work centers around themes of flora and fauna of the desert Southwest and Southern California, where she has grown to call her home. Westra’s work deals with boundary setting, letting go, and introspection. Westra received her AA from MiraCosta College and is pursuing her BA at San Diego State University.
